MTT Players Winning Huge Amounts Online

Now is the time to be an online MTT player because guarantees are being blown out of the water!

Online multi-table tournaments (MTT) are absolutely booming right now with guarantees blown out of the water around the world.

Grinders flocked to online poker sites on March 29 to continue playing poker. Large parts of the world are on lockdown due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic so have more spare time on their hands. Casinos and cardrooms across the world are also shut and poker players are playing online more than ever.

PokerStars is the world’s biggest online poker site so it’s unsurprising it’s seen the most benefit from extra traffic. The Sunday Million MTT usually attracts between 10,000 and 11,000 players each week, but the March 29 was different. A staggering 23,134-players bought in and created a $2,313,400 prize pool!

The MTT ended in a heads-up chop between Dutchman “Roykus” and Mexico’s “lfmdcv”. Roykus banked a cool $159,915 with the runner-up scooping $149,034.

PokerStars’ $530 Bounty Builder High Roller is another MTT that put up huge numbers. Some 3,203-players bought in to create a $1,601,500 prize pool when only $1 million was guaranteed.

Again, the top two finishers banked six-figure prizes. Denmark’s “kropop” got his hands on $104,033. Andorra’s “J0hn Mcclean” walked away with $178,474.

partypoker’s MTT Series Smashes Guarantees

partypoker is another online poker site you can’t currently play on in the United States, but you’ll wish you could after seeing some figures created by the MTT series there.

Some of these MTT allow you to buy into the final phase. This was one such event, although you needed to spend $5,200 to buy into the final directly.

The top four finishers all won six-figure prizes. “iRunStims” collected $104,612 and “JailWallet” netted $143,753. “nomeansyes” was the runner-up and he scooped $204,955. He won more almost $1.4 million from the partypoker MILLIONS Online in December!
