Americas Cardroom ran the Venom in August 2021, and increased the guarantee to $10 million. It fell short after 3,930 players bought in and created a $9,825,000 prize pool. This marked the first time a Venom overlaid. Everyone at the eight-handed final table won at least six figures, such was the size of the pot. The 2022 $10 Million Guaranteed Venom Schedule
January 21 marks the first of four $10 million guaranteed Venom flights. Each of the quartet of Day 1s shuffles up and deals at 13:00 ET. Everyone starts with 300,000 chips and play to 20-minute blinds starting at 800/1,600/240a. Each Day 1 lasts 28 levels – approximately 11 hours of play – with surviving players progressing to Day 2.
