Americas Cardroom is doubling the number of winners in The Beast promotion yet again. The online poker site did this in February when it went from paying 400 to 800 players. This groundbreaking promotion now pays 1,600 players as of August 15, 2020.
The Beast is a rake race open to all cash game players at Americas Cardoom. All play on six-max and nine-max tables counts, but heads-up tables are excluded. Every one of these tables is now a table of The Beast. Your play at them feeds the promotion.

How Do Your Earn Points For The Beast?
The Beast is a weekly race running from 00:00 on Saturday through 23:59 the following Friday. You earn one point for every $0.02 fed to The Beast. It is as simple as that. Americas Cardroom uses a Weighted Contributed Rake methodology to determine your points. It sounds complicated, but this example shows you it’s really now.
Everyone except Player A, B, C, and D fold at a nine-handed cash game table. Each player calls $1 to see the flop. Player A decides to move all-in for $50 and only Player D calls. The pot is $104 and $3 rake is taken from the pot. $2.76 of this goes to Americas Cardroom as usual but $0.24 is fed to The Beast. Leaderboard points in this example are awarded as follows:
- A receives 5.25 points
- B receives 0.75 points
- C receives 0.75 points
- D receives 5.25 points
The total prize pool depends entirely on how much The Beast is fed. There are four payout tiers in this promotion. Tier 1 is $500, Tier 2 pays $250, Tier 3 is $125 and Tier 4 is $50. The site adds the following each time $3,500 is added to the overall prize pool.
