How To Win The $105,000 ACR Sponsorship Package

ACR is putting up a $105,000 sponsorship package, and you can win it for only $0.01. The package consists of $25,000 cash, $40,000 worth of live poker tournament buy-ins, and $40,000 for online poker tournaments. It is an opportunity of a lifetime; here is how you can win it.

  • Compete in selected tournaments over 12 weeks between April 12 and July 4
  • These special tournaments cost just $0.01 to enter
  • You can play in as many of the tournaments as you wish
  • Approximately the top 100 finishers in each tournament receive leaderboard points
  • Your top five finishes each week count towards your running tally and the leaderboards reset
  • The top 30 players each week progress to the final tournament on July 11. This means 360 players take their seats in the grand finale.

The final 360 players return to ACR for a multi-day tournament on July 11, 18, and 25. Be the last player standing in this event, and you walk away with an ACR sponsorship package worth $105,000.

Moneymaker’s Incredible Journey

Chris Moneymaker was born in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1975. He attended school in Knoxville, Tennessee, and later earned a master’s degree in accounting at the University of Tennessee.

Moneymaker was a comptroller by day but a budding poker player by night. He bought into an $86 buy-in sit & go tournament, wrongly thinking it was a standard cash=paying tournament. However, it was a satellite SNG that awarded a $650 WSOP Main Event satellite seat.

The final satellite was down to four players, with three winning $10,000 WSOP Main Event seats. Fourth-place paid $8,000, which was Moneymaker’s credit card balance at the time. He openly admitted he tried his best to finish fourth so he could write off his debt!

Some 839 players bought into the WSOP Main Event in 2003, creating a $7,802,700 prize pool. Moneymaker outlasted them all, including wily pro Sammy Farha heads-up. The press had a field day thanks to Moneymaker’s apt name and the fact a recreational player took on the best pros in the business and beat them in their own backyard.

Moneymaker flew the flag of PokerStars for 17-years, traveling the world playing poker. PokerStars and Moneymaker parted ways on December 31, 2020, and he joined ACR as an ambassador.
