Whitegold333 Takes Down Black Chip Poker $1M Gtd PKO Event
Black Chip Poker ran a massive progressive knockout tournament on October 11, one with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. It overlaid, but “whitegold333” didn’t care because he was the last player standing. His reward? $129,207.
Some 1,578 players bought into the $1,000,000 GTD PKO event at Black Chip Poker for $600+$30. This meant $946,800 was collected and the site added $53,200 to make up the guarantee’s shortfall.
$500,000 went into the main prize pool, which the top 180 finishers shared. The remaining 50% went onto the heads of each and every entrant. A min-cash weighed in at $579 although plenty of players who finished outside of the money collected some cash.
Bryan “bparis” Paris, for example, finished 185th and narrowly missed out on a cash. He did collect $1,237 worth of bounties during his deep run, however.
The bubble burst when “DipsetDipset” fell in 181st place. They busted and Black Chip Poker set about distributing the main prize pool.
Big Names Reach Black Chip Poker $1M Gtd PKO Final Table
All but one of the finalists in the Black Chip Poker $1M Gtd PKO walked away with five figures. Michael “JenJacobs” Wasserman busted in ninth-place for $5,476 plus $2,081 worth of bounties, for a total prize worth $7,557.
Faraz “The-Toilet 0” Jaka crashed out in eighth place. Jaka tweeted he’s been nursing a 10 big blind stack for a long time but things turned around. His luck ran out and his Black Chip Poker account balance swelled by $15,020 when he exited the event. Jaka has won more than $10 million from tournament poker, he’s a true poker star.
Seventh place and $26,603 went to “kfirkabalo” before “schlonzemann” busted in sixth. The prize for sixth place weighed in at a cool $37,552 thanks to the sheer amount of bounties he picked up. Schlonzemann scooped $17,015 worth of bounties, only three other won more.
Black Chip Poker awarded $29,993 to “lookatmego” when he ran out of steam in fifth-place. New York-based pro Ruben “MehReg” Costa then fell by the wayside in fourth. This netted Costa $37,443.
Heads-up was reached when “Amashbox11” lost their stack, but gained $56,186. “BatSoup4” and “whitegold333” locked horns heads-up for the title. Both locked up $76,699 from the main prize pool but bounties were massive at this stage.
Whitegold333 won the one-on-one battle and added $52,508 to his main prize. This gave him a total prize worth $129,207. BatSoup4u secured a $100,543 consolation prize.

The $5 million guaranteed Venom PKO is the next huge event at Black Chip Poker. It costs $2,650 to enter but there are dozens of satellites running around the clock.
Venom PKO features four starting flights, the first taking place on October 23 at 18:00. Day 1B shuffles up and deals at 17:00 on October 25, Day 1C at 17:00 on October 30. Day 1D also starts at 17:00 on November 1 at Black Chip Poker.
This is the biggest PKO event in online poker history. Each bounty is worth at least $1,250 so expect some six-figure bounties at the final table! It will be an incredible spectacle and hopefully one of you will take it down.
